NewNetMail Courier

At the heart of NewNetMail's privacy, security and dependability is the NNM Courier, our desktop mail client.

Courier handles NewNetMail messages only and cannot be contaminated by regular email messages you might receive containing dangerous viruses, worms or trojans. Courier does not send or receive regular email, so you know your NNM messages are safe to open.

In 2005 - 2006 over $7.8 billion in damages were recorded in the U.S. alone due to these and other regular email attacks. Computers had to be repaired or replaced and important information was lost.

In addition, billions more were lost to scams and identity theft, and other predators, including child predators, have used public email to victimize an untold number of innocent users.

You and you alone control who sends you NNM mail which will come to you via your desktop Courier.

Courier checks your mail every 30 minutes (or as frequently as you wish) and downloads it to your desktop. It notifies you when you receive new mail. With Courier you send and receive mail without opening your web browser.

Courier is password protected to ensure privacy and security. It runs in the background when your computer is connected to the internet. It allows you to build your own folders for mail handling according to your personal needs, groups of addresses in your address book for specific purposes and much more.

Courier even has a unique Take It Back! feature to retrieve a sent message back from the recipient so long as they have not opened or downloaded it.

Courier is backed up by your online mailbox accessible from your NNM website. The pairing of Courier and your online mailbox is particularly useful for those who work on two or more computers.

All NNM messages are downloaded to your Courier. However, you can use your online mailbox from any computer to retrieve messages you have downloaded to Courier even if you have previously opened them. This is an invaluable feature for many in today's mobile society.

Courier even provides easy access to your NewNet Instant Messenger.

Courier is compatible with PC - based computers. Mac users access NewNetMail through their NNM website and enjoy the same security and safety features.
